Ashley Tennison, Esq.
– a native Central Floridian, Ms. Tennison attended the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. After UCF, she attended Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan and earned her Juris Doctorate degree there. While attending law school, Ms. Tennison held legal internships with the State Attorney’s office in Tavares, Florida and with the Public Defender’s office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During her internships she gained valuable experience for her criminal defense practice by preparing for and assisting in several jury trials.
Upon completing her J.D., Ms. Tennison became a member of the Florida Bar. She began her professional career as an Assistant Public Defender in Orlando, Florida and for over three years, Ms. Tennison vigorously defended clients in hundreds of cases ranging from traffic, DUI, domestic violence to drugs, burglary, and serious felonies punishable by life.
Ms. Tennison thoroughly believes that every citizen should have top quality, personalized, and affordable legal representation. With a client centered approach Ms. Tennison, along with her law partner, Christina Soberon-Llort, founded Tennison & Soberon-Llort, P.L. also known as TSL Legal.
Christina Soberón-Llort, Esq.
– raised in an enthusiastically Cuban-Mexican household, Ms. Soberon-Llort graduated from Duke University and obtained her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Ms. Soberon-Llort honed her skills as a litigator and researcher for the law firm of Broad & Cassel in their Orlando office. She worked as a summer associate in their Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation practice groups. However, her passion for criminal defense leads her to serve at the Public Defender’s Office of the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County for over 3 years.
While there, she defended her clients with zeal and compassion, and garnered a reputation for being an effective and caring advocate for her clients, often visiting her incarcerated clients during the evenings and weekends. Attorney Soberon-Llort obtained invaluable experience while serving as an Assistant Public Defender, representing clients in over 40 trials in everything from a simple misdemeanor petit theft to a serious aggravated felony. Attorney Soberon-Llort left the Public Defender’s Office to establish her own law practice with her former trial partner, Ashley Tennison.
Attorney Christina Soberon-Llort speaks Spanish fluently and is a proud member of the Cuban-American Bar Association and Hispanic Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs. She’s also an active member of the Florida Bar, Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Orange County Bar Association and Seminole County Young Lawyers.
She has also been a frequent guest on the popular Spanish talk radio show “Lucymar” on 1440 AM to answer family law questions and along with her partner, attorney Ashley Tennison, have provided informative talks to the Central Florida community.
